Why do people dance?

Dancing has been around for as long as anyone would care to remember. It’s popularity has waxed and waned but recently it has had a resurgance again with TV shows such as “Dancing With The Stars”, “So You Think You Can Dance” and with dance themed movies showing on the big screen. Thank you to everyone who from Counties who went to the East & South dance party on Saturday. We all had a lot of fun dancing, catching up with old friends and making some new ones. It was useful to preview the new Dance With A Stranger format before the upcoming East & South competition.

Congratulations to Dale, Rose and Lorena for making it to the Beginners finals, with Lorena taking 2nd place and Rose 1st place. Bring on the East & South Champs!!

We are heading back to the town square this Saturday. We will be there from 10am – 12pm, so come and enjoy the sunshine and great music. Have a dance and hang out with the lovely people from Counties Dance. Help us let people know what Ceroc is and encourage them to try a class. Send us an email or talk to us at class if you want to help and make Saturday a great day.

Come and join us for a fun evening at the St John’s Hall, 21 Roulston St, Pukekohe, South Auckland. Click here to view a map.
